CaribPay transitions to Virtual Debit Cards: What you need to know

As of May 15th, 2023, CaribPay will no longer be issuing Prepaid Reloadable MasterCard Debit Cards. Instead, CaribPay is transitioning to Virtual Debit Cards. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services and offer our users more convenience and security.

If you currently hold a Prepaid Reloadable MasterCard Debit Card issued by CaribPay, don’t worry. You will be transitioned over to a Virtual Debit Card, which can be used to pay bills and perform online purchases anywhere using the app. The Virtual Debit Card cannot be used at ATMs, but it offers the same level of security and convenience as our previous physical cards.

For those who were approved and waiting to collect their physical debit card, we apologize for the inconvenience. However, we want to assure you that you will be given priority in the wait-list for the Virtual Debit Card. Emails will be sent out later in the month with the next steps on how to obtain your new Virtual Debit Card.

We understand that change can be difficult, but we believe that this transition to Virtual Debit Cards will bring about more convenience and security to our users. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we continue to make improvements to our services. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.
